TWO BRICKED PSPS pls help.

Hi. I have two bricked psps... I mentioned the first one in a previous post. I'm making a new post now as the situation has changed.

PSP 1 - symptoms: PSP starts but XMB is useless. Only a few buttons do something but not correctly and it shuts down going blank. Recovery mode just about works but sometimes the screen goes blank on that too.

PSP 2 - symptoms: Black screen. You can hear sound but no XMB and no recovery mode.

I'd like to get any firmware as long as it has emulation...

Ok, is there still an available download for the ps vita uno game for the glitch? I know its not a psp but i didnt see a ps vita forum.

any help on how to get this up and running would be great. do I actually need the uno game to make this work or just some game save data?

so i was updating my psp from 5.50 promethues to 5.50 gen D, and when i was in the middle of the update all of a sudden it stuck then it turn of by itself, the battery is full 100%.. when i want to open it, cannot see the psp logo.. recovery menu also cannot open... then i use card reader to see the problem, then i see the item on root, i cut it and put on pc.. after that i bring to gameshop it cannot fix... and i want to find back the item on root it missing.. not sure where i put it..

PSP was connected to computer a night before and was working fine. Morning the PSP wont turn on or charge. It turned on with another battery but wont charge that battery either. ALso with the adapter the psp wont come on. what could be the solution to end this?

Psp problems after multiple downgrades.

Hi. After my PSP bricked I brought a Pandora battery and made my own magic mem stick (in XP using cmd). Followed all instructions and downgraded to firmware 1.50.

I've done this multiple times now and I still get the same outcome. Buttons occasionally behave in a weird way, brightness controlled by other buttons for instance or, as shown in the linked video, this more extreme behaviour. When accessing the nickname menu the buttons cycle widely?:

Hi all.
Got a major problem here: Have a PSP 1000 and i recently downgraded after a semi brick. I used a pandora battery and went back to 1.50 OFW. When the system restarts and i put in the time and date etc I get to the name entry bit.
Then, all the keys go completely mad. It like a key is being held down and it cycles through. I dont think its a hardware issue like a sticking key as it only does it on certain things. Also the keys do different things such as cursor left is mute for example....

Could someone help me with this please. I'm trying to setup my sons PSP so I can download them and he can play them.

I'm using Patapon 2 hack. I have UCUS98732_DATA02 saved to PSP/SAVEDATA and I've UCUS98734 (the game demo) saved to PSP/GAME.

Could someone tell me what I'm missing? When I go to game and press R1 the PSP shutsdown.

Grateful for any help. I've also 1994_PrometheusIsoLoader on my computer not on PSP memory card where do these files go?

So i bought my son a PSP 1000 as a gift for learning how to read. I bought it from a pawn shop but it used to belong to a guy i knew. I bought him a few games ( wipeout pure, need for speed most wanted, loco roco 2, lego batman,little big planet ) He's 6. It will only play the first two games and when he tries to play the others is reads "the game could not be started" (DADADADA) I am not good with video games at all and when trying to figure it out its like reading french, and i dont speak...

Convert PSX Eboot save to legit save

Hey there

I was wondering if there was a way to convert a PSX eboot save file, into a normal PSX save file that will be readable by the PS3/Vita.

The reason I ask is that I started FFVIII on the PSP - ran into the crash *issue* and now want to carry on playing on the Vita instead, but the PS3 doesn't recognise the save file on the PSP correctly, presumably because its illegitimate The version on my Vita however is purchased.

That could be horribly explained, so apologies.

Okay, so...I used to run 3.71 m33-2, if that's any clue as to how long it's been since I've messed with this stuff. I have a Pandora battery if needed. My PSP somehow updated itself to the 5.55 version of the official firmware, possibly because a while ago it had access to a wifi network for the first time ever and did it automatically?

I discovered this when I went to fire up one of my PSX EBOOTs and got a "copyright protection is invalid". I just wanna get back to a point where I can play...

I have a modded PSP, its worked fine for a game ive had on it. picked it up after having it laying around for a long while and now when I go to play that same game I get a "The game could not be started. (80010013)" anyone know how to fix this?

I wanted to move the Custom Firmware on my current PSP 3000 1gb memory card (CW PRO-B9 6.60) to my new 4gb memory card, but i want to know if i can do that without having to run the updater again?
